About the event
Your practice facilitator will provide all the information and skills required for you to confidently identify, recognise and interpret basic cardiac rhythms.
Building upon the basic cardiac rhythm knowledge, we start to look at the "Say What You See" model of 12 lead interpretation. At the end of the session, YOU WILL be able to demonstrate the ability to recognise and diagnose common cardiac issues, seen on a 12 lead, such as ischaemia and acute myocardial infarctions.
There are excellent opportunities to practice your ECG interpretation skills on various scenarios, gradually building your ECG confidence and 12 lead diagnosis.
The course covers:
- Essential anatomy and physiology of the heart.
- Its relationship to the conduction system.
- 3 lead cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia's.
- 12 lead understanding, recognition and diagnosis.
