Immediate Care Paramedics are delighted to be able to introduce the worlds leading and prehospital trauma care course to New Zealand.
Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), now in its 9th Edition, is the gold standard and recognised around the world as the leading continuing education programme for prehospital emergency trauma care. It is one of the pre requisite qualifications needed to work in private practice and will be a bench mark in the forth coming Professional Registration discussions.
The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved, or with an interest in the delivery of prehospital care.
Immediate Care Paramedics are delighted to deliver the PHTLS course developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma, which provides medical direction and oversight.
