About the event

The BWMC Course has been based on the fundamental requirements to preserve life in the immediate aftermath of an incident or accident and then to build confidence and practical skills to ensure that prolonged care can be delivered effectively before any rescue. Incorporated into the course are the psychological tools to manage unexpected outcomes when extended care is unavailable, unsuccessful or futile.

The BWMC Course reinforces the basic core concepts of care, slowly increasing in intensity and complexity to ensure that we capture the requirements of the novice candidate and those attending with prior experience and knowledge.

The course uses short lectures, that are then reinforced using the latest moulaged techniques, real patients and instructor lead skill stations.

Upon completion of The Blue Water Medical Course, attendees will receive three qualifications, The Blue Waters Medical Course attendance certificate and two internationally recognised and registered qualifications, namely the First On The Scene Course (FOTS) and a Stop The Bleed - Bleeding Control Qualification.
