All Hazards Disaster Response (ADHR) teaches EMS practitioners how to respond to the many types of disaster scenarios they may encounter, including natural disasters and infrastructure failings, fires, radiological events, pandemics, active shooter incidents and other mass casualty events.

ADHR educates participants on how to analyze potential threats in their area, asses available resources and create a medical response plan that saves lives.

At the start of the course, participants conduct a "hazards vulnerability analysis" to assess natural and man-made features of their environment that pose risk, along with assessing the needs of vulnerable populations, such as assisted living residents or hospital patients that need special consideration.

Content is presented in the context of realistic scenarios, culminating with a large scale mass casualty activity.

Provider Course
An 8-hour course that is designed for all EMS practitioners regardless of qualification. We would also invite persons with an interest in this subject matter to apply.  The benefit to other health care providers and agencies providing assistance and aid in disaster areas or zones would be mutually beneficial to share and collaborate ideas and experiences.
Successful completion recognises you as an ADHR Provider and is valid for 4 years

Refresher Course
A 4-hour course for individuals who have successfully completed either the  Core or the Advanced Provider Course within the 4 years and wish to revalidate their ADHR Provider Status.
